SCANNET! is proud to announce its involvement with The Newcastle Entertainment Precinct, NEP has been formed by Newcastle late night venues within the Newcastle Entertainment Precinct. The precinct has been designed to have common banned patron information between these venues in order to provide a safe environment within our entertainment precinct & to support those individuals who do the right thing while out at night.

The Geelong Entertainment precinct has played an important roll in establishing the NEP by identifying exactly how effective a joint scanning system can reduce venue assaults and curb trouble makers entering our venues.

The NEP have been working with the local police in establishing the system, a large number of patrons have already been identified from the past 12 months of trading & trailling the new scanning technology.

The NEP has affiliated themselves with SCANNET, state of the art technology to identify those patrons who will be refused entry from venues within the NEP.

SCANNET has no control of the NEP banned patron list ONLY the management of the NEP in conjunction with the concerning venue has the right to change, combine or remove ban periods at any time.
